Agri-startup programme under RKVY runs through 5 Knowledge Partners and 24 RKVY Agri-Business Incubators (R-ABIs), which run their own cohort calls (e.g., IIT BHU cohort 9 and IIT Kanpur in 2026): up to ₹5 lakh pre-seed and up to ₹25 lakh seed grant. Apply through the R-ABI call on agristartup.gov.in.

The Innovation & Agri-Entrepreneurship Program (RKVY) supports agri-startups with funding, mentorship, and incubation so they can develop innovative farming solutions and strengthen the agricultural sector.
Objectives
To promote innovation and agripreneurship by providing financial support and nurturing the incubation ecosystem. To strengthen infrastructure in agriculture and allied areas.

- DPIIT-recognised startups.
What do you get?
- Pre-seed support up to ₹5 lakh and seed-stage support up to ₹25 lakh via R-ABIs.
- Provides grant-in-aid, incubation and mentoring support to eligible agri startups.
