Privacy notice
What we collect when you unlock the list, why, and how to change your mind. Written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Who we are
This list is run by Sytezo, a product studio in Mandrem, Goa, India. Sytezo is the data fiduciary for the details you share here. Contact: the contact page on Sytezo's website.
What we collect
- Your name, and your email address and/or WhatsApp number.
- Optional: the round you're raising and your sector.
- Context we attach automatically: the page you signed up on, the referring site and campaign tags (UTM), the time, and your browser type.
Why we use it
- To give you access to the list and build your matches.
- To send you funding updates: new funds, changes to the list, and Sytezo's other free resources for founders.
- To tell you about Sytezo products, including FounderOS, by email or WhatsApp.
We use your details only on the basis of the consent you give in the form. We don't sell them, and we don't share them with the funds on this list or anyone else, except service providers that store or send messages for us.
Where it is stored and for how long
Sign-ups are stored in a Google Workspace spreadsheet controlled by Sytezo, the same one used for the Sytezo Grants Guide. We keep your details until you withdraw consent, or for 24 months after our last contact with you, whichever is sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your details, or withdraw consent at any time. Just reply “STOP” to any message or write to the contact page on Sytezo's website. Withdrawing consent stops future messages; it doesn't affect anything sent before. If you're unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
On your device
Your browser remembers that you've unlocked the list, your saved funds and your theme choice, using local storage on your device. We don't use advertising cookies.
Children
The list is meant for people aged 18 and over.
